This makes it challenging for farmers to power their irrigation pumps and access EV charging infrastructure. Lack of access to charging infrastructure is one of the significant barriers to the adoption of EVs in rural areas. While the deployment of EVs in cities is growing rapidly, rural areas still lag behind. EVs in rural areas face the challenge of limited access to charging infrastructure and the high cost of charging. This is where solar pumps with EV charging facility can play a significant role in promoting the adoption of EVs in rural India.

 

The deployment of solar pumps with EV charging facility presents several benefits for rural India. Firstly, it can significantly reduce the cost of EV charging in rural areas.
