On the occasion of Rajasthan Diwas, the Tourism Department of Women’s India Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WICCI) and JKLU jointly organized an All-India Photography & Film-making Competition on March 30, 2022. Rural Tourism President of WICCI Rajasthan, Dr Rashmi Sanghi was the Convenor of the competition. Participants showcased creative photographs and short videos related to different aspects and areas of Rajasthan. Renowned Cinematographer, Mr Shanti Bhushan Rai and JKLU’s Director of the Institute of Design, Mr A Balasubramaniam were the judges of the competition which saw Tanay Kasliwal, Adhiraj, Kushal Jain, Shreshtha Maheshwari, Rahul Sharma, Vishal Punia, Sunil Kumar and Arushi Sharma as the winners. Vice Chancellor of JKLU, Dr Dheeraj Sanghi mentioned that the purpose of the competition was to create awareness about the culture, monuments and historical places of Rajasthan worldwide, while at the same time, provide a platform to students to showcase their creativity.
