Faculty Achievement – Change Maker Humanity Award
On March 26, 2022 Dr Kshitiz Verma, faculty of JKLU’s Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET) was awarded the ‘Change Maker Humanity Award’ in recognition of his significant contribution in the field of education. Dr Kshitiz has worked towards democratizing higher education by teaching latest artificial intelligence techniques, deep learning and neural networks in Hindi for students who are not comfortable with the English language. The growing outreach of his free courses has enabled innumerable Hindi speaking students fulfill the growing demand of professionals in multiple areas, resonating with the true spirit of a Change Maker. The Change Maker Humanity Award was conceptualized by Jaipur National University in association with Bharat Soka Gakkai to celebrate and honor the efforts of unsung protagonists who are making a difference in the lives of many others in the fields of Education, Medical and Community Healthcare, and Social Services, in the state of Rajasthan. The ceremony was graced by Shri Ashok Chandna – Minister of Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship (DSEE), and Youth Affairs & Sports for Rajasthan and Dr. Mahesh Joshi – Minister of Public Health Engineering & Ground Water for Rajasthan.
