The Institute of Design at JK Lakshmipat University is set to host the annual Design Guru Day on November 9, 2024 commemorating the birth anniversary of the late Prof. M.P. Ranjan, a visionary in the field of design education.

This event celebrates the contributions of distinguished design educators and acknowledges their pivotal role in shaping the future of design in India and beyond.

Design Guru Day, an initiative by the Institute of Design at JK Lakshmipat University, recognizes the exceptional efforts of educators who have made significant contributions to design education.

Past recipients of the prestigious Design Guru Award include eminent personalities such as Prof. Ashoke Chatterjee, Late Prof Vikas Satwaleka, Judy Frater, Dr. Don Norman, and Prof. S. Balaram, reflecting the award’s stature within the design community.
