Biography

Dr Suprita Talnikar is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the Institute of Engineering & Technology, JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata, where her doctoral research focused on theoretical cryptography. Her research primarily concerns provable security in classical symmetric-key cryptography and authenticated encryption, with emerging interests in post-quantum symmetric-key cryptography and robust cryptography, and applied interests in secret sharing, IoT security, blockchain, privacy-preserving machine learning and AI security. She has held post-doctoral research positions at Radboud University, Kyushu University and the Indian Statistical Institute, and has published in venues including ASIACRYPT, EUROCRYPT, IACR Transactions on Symmetric Cryptology, Designs, Codes and Cryptography, and Advances in Mathematics of Communications. She is also an Institute Medallist and rank holder in M.Sc. Mathematics from VNIT Nagpur.
