Considerations

Scholarship Allocation

If a student qualifies for more than one scholarship, only the scholarship with the highest value will be applied, as combining multiple scholarships is not permitted.

Sibling/Alumni Discount

Siblings of JKLU alumni who have graduated with a full-time degree are eligible for a 20% discount. This discount applies only to new enrollments and does not extend to siblings who are already enrolled.

Scholarship Applicability

Scholarships are exclusively applicable to academic fees.

Scholarship Continuation

At JK Lakshmipat University, scholarships for the subsequent academic years depend on the student's performance in the program.

Below is the breakdown of the CGPA requirements and corresponding scholarship percentages:

CGPA of Previous Year Performance-based Scholarship for Next Year
Above 9.5 75%
>=9.0 and <=9.5 50%
>8.5 and <=9.0 25%
8.0 and <=8.5 10%

Students must achieve a minimum CGPA of 8.0 to qualify for a scholarship in the next academic year. This policy applies only to incoming students and does not affect current students, who remain subject to the scholarship terms in place at the time of their admission.

Role of Disciplinary Committee

The Disciplinary Committee and the Unfair Means Committee have the authority to alter or terminate scholarships based on violations of academic or disciplinary standard.

The consequences of such breaches are as follows:

  • First Offense: Reduction of scholarship to the next lower percentage level.
  • Second Offense: Complete revocation of the scholarship.

These committees have the discretion to either maintain the scholarship in cases of minor infractions or remove it entirely on a first serious offense. This policy ensures that scholarships are awarded in a manner that upholds the integrity and standards of JK Lakshmipat University.
