The Design Studio at the Institute of Design, JKLU is a space for creative exploration, collaboration, and execution of design projects.
The students are equipped with high-end digital drawing tablets, interactive whiteboards, and advanced design software to work on branding, digital illustrations, UI/UX, and motion graphics.Â
It creates a hands-on learning environment for students, who can experiment with real-world projects while developing industry-relevant skills. It is by integrating theories into practices that enhance critical thinking, visual storytelling, and innovation. The studio bridges academia and professional industry needs by connecting students across academic disciplines to ensure they are well-prepared for future design challenges.
Prototype Studio
The Prototype Studio is a dynamic, hands-on workspace designed to empower design students to translate their concepts into tangible, working prototypes. The studio bridges creativity and engineering, allowing students to experiment, innovate, and refine their designs using a wide range of industry-grade tools and technologies. Whether you're shaping materials, working with metals, or exploring additive manufacturing, the Prototype Studio supports every stage of the prototyping process—from rough models to final functional outputs.
