Atal Incubation Centre – JK Lakshmipat University (AIC-JKLU) was established in 2019 with the support of Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, and JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU).

Over the last five years, AIC-JKLU has supported 80+ startups across diverse sectors including Energy Innovation, Eldercare & Longevity, and Sustainability-focused Materials and Solutions. It has consistently ranked among the top-performing incubation centers under the AIM network.

What sets AIC-JKLU apart is its interdisciplinary access — with more than 33 state-of-the-art labs in design, engineering, and computing, a pool of 43+ expert mentors, and corporate partners that support both startup pilots and industry collaborations.

With a growing network of national and international collaborators, AIC-JKLU is now building focused ecosystems in the Longevity Economy and Energy Innovation — while continuing to serve as a bridge between startups and real-world enterprise needs.

Rural India Solution for Energy (RISE)

RISE challenge is a flagship incubation program of AIC-JKLU, launching the 2nd cohort to recognize startups with innovative solutions in the energy sector to serve rural India and the industries for optimal use of energy. The need for stable energy is clear, and the growing demand is perceived as both a necessity and a market opportunity. In parallel, entrepreneurship has played a considerable role in turning environmental constraints into renewable and clean energy opportunities. AIC-JKLU strives to provide a testing ground for new ideas in the field for startups.

Longevity Economy Accelerator Program

In India, a lack of proper care and trustworthy assistance for seniors is a genuine problem that affects all of us, regardless of our economic or social standing. As a result, most senior people, despite their financial independence, make compromises on their demands and lifestyle. LEAP's goal is to enlist the help of like-minded individuals to develop solutions for the elderly that will make their daily lives easier and allow them to maintain their independence.

Sector Agnostic Incubation Programme

This is a 9 month long intensive incubation program designed to help entrepreneurs materialize their ideas into successful ventures. This is for individuals and groups of individuals, who are at the prototype & scaling stage and want to develop or validate the product. This program will provide training to work on ideas, Business plan development, business mentoring, product development support, technical support, and access to networking events and funding networks.
