Biography

With 15+ years of teaching and research experience in Computer Science & Engineering, Professor Sonali Vyas specializes in AI, Data Science, and Smart Technologies, focusing on impactful research and real-world innovation. She holds a PhD in Computer Science, along with an M.Tech in Data Science from BITS Pilani. Her work spans Healthcare Informatics, Data Science, and Computational Intelligence. She has authored and edited 12+ internationally published books (including Elsevier, Springer and CRC Press), with 140+ publications and 8 patents in smart and sustainable technologies. She actively contributes as a keynote speaker, IEEE/AICTE-ISTE resource person, mentor, and research collaborator in AI, healthcare, IoT, and emerging technologies. Recognised with multiple awards, including Women in Research (2025) and Research Excellence (2023). She is a Senior Member of IEEE and affiliated with ACM, CSI, IFERP, IAENG, and ISOC, committed to advancing AI-driven solutions for a sustainable digital future.
