Dr. Sheetal Mundra is an economist and enthusiastic entrepreneurship educator with the aim to equip the new generations with economic life skills and providing them a platform to explore and develop their entrepreneurial skill.
She is a post-graduate and doctorate in economics (MDS University, Rajasthan) having 18 years of post-doctorate experience in teaching, training, and research. Prior to JKLU, she served Northcap University, Gurgaon. Being a merit holder, she is ‘Advance Data Analytics’ from IIM Kozhikode; FDP from IIM, Ahmedabad, certified in 'Digital Marketing and Analytics' from ISB; and 'Certified in Entrepreneurship Education’ by Wadhwani Foundation.
She has won Best Research Paper awards. Published more than two dozen research articles in International and National Journals and presented papers in international and national conferences organized by leading reputed Institutes (IIMA, IIML, MDI, IITR, FORE, NTU Singapore, Abu Dhabi University UAE, Symbiosis, etc.). Authored one textbook and edited one book. She has participated and organized various FDP's, MDP’s, Seminars, Workshops, Entrepreneurship Colloquium, and Entrepreneurship Seminars on various themes. She is associated with start-up initiatives and actively collaborates and network with various institutions to build the entrepreneurship ecosystem at university. She has mentored 80+ students’ start-ups.
She was a member of the Research Team of ‘The UK-India SME Knowledge Initiative’, sponsored by the British Council under the UKIERI. She was a core member for Setting up E-Cells in Educational Institutions (A project from RICCO) and was also a core member of the AIC- JKLU project. She is an innovation Ambassador of IIC of MHRD, GOI at JKLU, a member of the AIC – JKLU, NEN, IEA, and ISTD.
She was awarded the 'Women Achievers Award 2020' in the category of BEST PRACTICES IN EDUCATION.
