Biography

Dr. Rohit Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Engineering and Technology at JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU), Jaipur. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar, where his doctoral research focused on secure authentication and communication in IoT environments. He earned his M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Hamirpur and B.Tech. in Information Technology from IIET Bareilly. Before joining JKLU, he served as an Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) at Manipal University Jaipur. His research interests include Security and Privacy, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning, with a particular focus on secure IoT communication, authentication, threat detection, and privacy-preserving technologies. His research contributions span peer-reviewed journals, conferences, book chapters, and patents, with applications in healthcare security, smart systems, and blockchain-based threat detection. Alongside research, he is actively involved in student mentoring, internship coordination, and entrepreneurial initiatives, contributing to student learning, innovation, and professional development.
