Biography

Dr Pranab Roy holds a PhD from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur in the area of Computational Microfluidics with focus on EDA algorithms and Cyberphysical architecture. In his academic career spanning more than 18 years, he has taught Object Oriented Programming, Computer Organization and Architecture, Embedded systems, Algorithm Design, Embedded systems, VLSI Physical Design, SoC Design and Data Structures with C and Java ,Mobile Application Development at Engineering institutions and Universities in India. His research expertise is anchored around Algorithm design for EDA, Computational Microfluidics and Cognitive Computing. His research contributions have been presented in leading international conferences and published in peer reviewed journals(IEEE, ACM, Springer and Elsevier). His earlier career was as Marine Engineer Officer onboard foreign Going Ships with different International Shipping companies. He is currently Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at J.K.Lakshmipat University,Jaipur.
