Biography

Dr. Mohd. Shahnawaz Khan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Institute of Engineering & Technology, JKLU. He holds a PhD in Synthetic Organic & Medicinal Chemistry from St. Johns College, Agra. He is a fellow of the Indian Council of Chemists (ICC) and Indian Chemical Society (I.C.S), Calcutta. He has 17 years of teaching experience at the graduate and post-graduate levels with twenty-eight research papers published in several national and international journals of repute. He has also participated in and presented his research papers at numerous national and international conferences, workshops, and training programs. Dr. Khan completed various online advanced certification courses in waste management, chemical health, environment, and safety from reputed university platforms like Johns Hopkins University, Health and Safety Authority Ireland, Ecole Polytechnique Federale De Lausanne & ETH Switzerland, University at Buffalo (UB, National Safety Council of India, and NPTL IIT Kharagpur. At JKLU, Dr. Mohd. Shahnawaz Khan is actively engaged in teaching, research & administrative work.
