Biography

Dr. Lokanath Mishra is an avid learner and passionate teacher. He is dedicated to inspiring his students to discover their purpose and true potential. Lokanath Mishra has the opportunity to impact the lives of students and takes this role seriously.

He has over 18 years of academic experience of teaching postgraduate and Graduate students in Accounting, Financial management, Derivative, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Forex Management and Business Law. ​ He is certified data analytics from IIM(K), Certified Biz Lab trainer from AIMA and on FICO Module from SAP.

He is a Ph.D. from Central University of Tripura in corporate disclosure and reporting practices of Indian Companies. His Research Interest Includes the area of Corporate Reporting Practices, Fintech application, Behavioral Finance, Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainability issues. He has presented and published research papers in national and international journals of repute of Scopus indexed J​journal with ABDC’s ‘B’ Category, to name a few “Journal of Public Affairs” of Wiley Publication, “International Journal of Finance & Economics” of Wiley Publication, “Journal of Sustainable Finance & Investment” of Taylor & Francis, “International Journal of Business Excellence” of Inder science Publication. He has published more than 20 papers in reputed Journals and participated in many national and international Conference.

He is also the recipient of Best Research paper award in the area of “Corporate Social Responsibility” from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University at the annual Commerce Convention, 2014. ​He has conducted many executive training programs for the employees of JK Tyres, JK Papers, JK Lakshmi Cement and schoolteachers training program at MPS, Jaipur.

2023-2024

  • Appointed as Chief warden of the University with effective from 16th January 2023, role and responsibilities include management of hostels and mess, managing warden office, ensuring comfortable and best in hostel staying experience for all the students, bridging the gap between various administrative services to be provided at the hostels. Brought reforms in many areas of hostel management.
  • Faculty placement Coordinator role for the academic year 2023-2024, my responsibilities include helping and validating the CV preparation of final year students, conducting mock placement interview sessions, suggesting and counselling for short term skill enhancement programs, closely working with placement division for lineup of students for various campus offers and helping with corporate leads for placement opportunities.
  • Chairman Anti-ragging committee- Preparing and implementing University anti-ragging policy, meeting first year students regularly, compliance with UGC norms, filling up of anti-ragging affidavit form of all students.
  • Admission Spoc for the institute of management and coordinating with admission team.

2022-2023

  • Convener of 9th International Conference on “Innovation and sustainability” being organized by JKLU during Feb, 5-6, 2021. From Conceptualization of Idea to successful execution in organizing the conference with highest amount of revenue, papers and resource persons and timely publication of conference papers was handled by me.
  • Service_2: Chief Hostel Warden since last two years, managed students specially during covid period with personal care with their safety and security till they depart to their home safely in both the phase of covid situation.
  • Service_3: Coordinator of Criteria 5 (Student life and progression) for NAAC documentation.

2019-2020

  • Sole Faculty Coordinator of 2020 edition of Annual Sports Fest with highest participant from all over the country with highest revenue collection as well. One of the best SPARDHA event as compared to many previous editions.
  • Sole Faculty coordinator of annual “Techno management and design” Fest, the flagship event of JKLU called “SABARANG” of 2019 edition.
