Dr. Anshu Yadav is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering & Technology. She obtained her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 2024, where her research focused on entropy stable numerical schemes for conservation laws and non-conservative hyperbolic systems.
Her research interests lie in Computational Mathematics, Numerical Analysis, Hyperbolic Partial Differential Equations, Entropy Stable Schemes, Finite Difference Methods, and Scientific Computing. Her work has been published in reputed international journals including the Journal of Scientific Computing, Computers & Mathematics with Applications, and the Journal of Computational Physics.
She believes that effective learning takes place through active interaction between students and teachers. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and encouraging students to participate in discussions during lectures.
Her long-term research goal is to develop efficient and reliable numerical methods for non-conservative hyperbolic partial differential equations while fostering collaborations with researchers working in computational mathematics and scientific computing.
