Biography

Dr. Akshat Agrawal holds a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from UPTU and an M.Tech from USICT, GGSIPU, New Delhi. He earned his Ph.D. from USIC&T, GGSIPU, New Delhi. He is currently working as an Associate Professor at Computer Science and Engineering at JK Laxmipat University, Jaipur Prior to this he worked as a Cluster Lead at the School of Computer Science & Engineering, IILM University, Gurugram and, served as an Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) – Assistant Professor-III at Amity University Haryana, Amity School of Engineering and Technology.Dr. Agrawal has over 17 years of teaching and research experience. His primary research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Artificial Neural Networks, Speech Processing, and Image Processing. He has published 67 research papers in Scopus/SCIE-indexed international journals and conferences.

He has successfully guided 20 M.Tech theses and 42 B.Tech projects. As part of international academic collaborations, he visited the Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia, and the University of Nova, Portugal, in June 2019 under the CABCIN project (ERASMUS-funded). In May 2023, he received a scholarship to visit the Wroclaw University of Science & Technology, Wroclaw, Poland. Dr. Agrawal is actively involved in peer reviewing research papers and book chapters and has served on the programme committees of several conferences. He has edited a special issue and books like : IGI Global, Elsevier, Springer Nature, Wiley publishers.
