Biography

Abhishek Meena is a graduate from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad in Furniture and Interior design with over two and half years of academic experience and more than seven years of industrial and entrepreneurial expertise. His teaching philosophy emphasizes Design Thinking, creativity, and critical problem-solving, combining hands-on experiential learning with theoretical insights to equip students for real-world challenges.

Abhishek has taught a range of courses, including Interaction with Materials, Workshop Skills and Manufacturing Processes, Elements of Form, Nature and Form, Simple Product Design, and Technically Complex Products. His industry experience adds depth and relevance to his teaching, helping students bridge the gap between academic concepts and professional practice.

Dedicated to mentoring, he fosters an approachable and empathetic environment, offering personalized guidance on design portfolios, internships, and career planning. With a passion for nurturing curiosity and innovation, Abhishek aims to inspire students to think critically and creatively, shaping them into confident and capable designers.
