The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at JKLU organized a two-and-a-half-day workshop on “Introduction to Drone Engineering” from April 3–5. The workshop was conducted by industry experts Mr. Shashank Agarwal and Mr. Soumil Arora from Elecon Aerotech Pvt. Ltd.

The workshop aimed to provide participants with fundamental knowledge and practical exposure to drone technology, focusing on drone architecture, working principles, and IoT-based applications.

A major highlight of the workshop was its strong practical orientation, enabling participants to gain exposure to drone operation, IoT integration, safety protocols and emerging applications, while also exploring career opportunities and innovation prospects in the domain. Interactive discussions, live demonstrations and hands-on sessions kept participants actively engaged throughout.
