Spardha 2026, the inter-university annual sports festival of JKLU, set a new benchmark as the largest edition in the university’s history.
The three-day sporting extravaganza from March 27-29 witnessed participation from 28 universities and colleges, bringing together over 750 participants and a total of 110 teams, reflecting the growing national footprint of the event.
Spardha 2026 featured a wide range of competitions, including flagship events such as Cricket, Basketball, Football, and Badminton, alongside other engaging formats like Kabaddi, Chess, and E-Sports. The tournament was conducted with a total prize pool of ₹2,00,000, attracting high levels of competition and performance across categories.
In addition to sporting events, the festival offered a vibrant cultural lineup, including music performances, dance showcases, jamming sessions, DJ nights, and film screenings, enhancing the overall participant experience.
