In collaboration with MathWorks, a US-based developer of mathematical computing software for engineers and scientists, JKLU organised a MATLAB campus-wide onboarding workshop on August 5.

The two-hour workshop was attended by students, faculty members, research scholars, undergraduate students, and project teams. Mr. Manoj Kumar, Designtech (Official Partner of MathWorks), served as the resource person.

The workshop was conducted with the aim of familiarising the participants with the University's MATLAB and Simulink Campus-Wide License and demonstrate their applications in teaching, learning, research, innovation, and industry-oriented projects.

The session covered the process of MathWorks account creation, software installation and activation, along with an introduction to MATLAB Online and MATLAB Drive.

Participants were also introduced to various toolboxes covering AI, ML, Data Science, Signal & Image Processing, Control Systems, Simulink, Parallel Computing, and Embedded Systems. A guided Onramp activity provided hands-on exposure to MATLAB programming.
