JKLU’s Centre for Global Learning Programs (CGLP) marked the launch of its CGLP Expert Talk Series by hosting expert talks and interactive discussions with two eminent international experts from Poland on July 28.
The session by Ms. Paulina Muszyńska, Head of Development Project Department at the Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency and Dr. Yash Chawla, Deputy Head, Department of Computational Social Science, Wrocław University of Science and Technology provided participants with valuable insights into the global startup ecosystem and the principles of design thinking.
In her talk titled, “The Ecosystem Advantage,” Ms. Muszyńska showcased the startup potential of Wroclaw and shared her insights into building a startup culture, highlighting the importance of an entrepreneurial mindset, innovation ecosystem, and the journey of transforming ideas into successful ventures.
During his session titled, "Crafting Your Startup with Design Thinking," Dr. Chawla focused on how aspiring entrepreneurs can leverage design thinking methodologies to build human-centric, innovative, and resilient entrepreneurial ventures.
“The creative problem-solving mindset is vital and necessary to navigate the early stages of startup development,” he said.
The sessions witnessed active participation from JKLU faculty members, research scholars, and students, reflecting a strong interest in entrepreneurship and innovation.
