Laughter echoed through the halls, music filled the air, and familiar faces carried the bittersweet realization that an unforgettable journey was coming to an end. The farewell evening for the 2022–2026 B.Tech batch at the Institute of Engineering & Technology, held on May 21, was a celebration of friendships, milestones, and memories that will long outlive college life.

Organised thoughtfully by the second and third-year students, the evening brought together faculty members, juniors, and graduating students for a warm and emotional send-off. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Tapas Kumar, Dean, Institute of Engineering & Technology, and Prof. Umesh Gupta, Dean, Academic Affairs, shared words of encouragement and wished the outgoing batch success in the years ahead.

Games, dance performances, and the lively “Mr. and Ms. Farewell” competition added energy and excitement to the celebration, with Deepak Kumar and Sheetal Shekhawat winning the titles. As the evening concluded over cake, music, dinner, and endless photographs, the campus witnessed something timeless, the beauty of saying goodbye while carrying a piece of JKLU forever.
