Since 2014, JKLU has been honouring nationally and internationally acclaimed and outstanding achievers with JKLU Laureate Award each year not only to venerate these accomplished leaders from all walks of life but also to facilitate the young minds in our country to identify their role models and emulate them.

A colossus in India’s financial landscape, Shri Parekh is renowned for propelling HDFC to global acclaim and widening the range of financial services in the country.

Mashelkar, world-renowned scientist, and former Director General of CSIR, receiving the JKLU Laureate Award 2023 from JKLU Pro Chancellor, Shri Harsh Pati Singhania, in the presence of JKLU Vice Chancellor, Dr Dheeraj Sanghi, and former JKLU Pro-Vice Chancellor, Mr. Asheesh Gupta. Dr. Mashelkar is known for his world-class scientific research in polymer science & engineering and for his inclusive innovation movement based on the concept of Gandhian Engineering that he pioneered.

Smt. Arundhati Bhattacharya, the first woman to be the Chairperson of State Bank of India, was conferred with the JKLU Laureate Award 2021. A Padma Shri awardee, Smt. Bhattacharya, who is currently the Chairperson and CEO of Salesforce India, has earned laurels for her exceptional contributions to the field of trade and industry.

Former Prime Minister of India, Late Dr. Manmohan Singh, received the JKLU Laureate Award 2019 from Shri Bharat Hari Singhania, President, JK Organisation & Chancellor, JKLU in the presence of JKLU Pro Chancellor, Shri R.P. Singhania, and former JKLU Vice Chancellor, Dr. RL Raina. Dr. Manmohan Singh is widely credited as the architect of India’s economic reforms that contributed immensely to the country’s rise as one of the world's fastest-growing major economies.

Former President of India, Late Pranab Mukherjee, received the JKLU Laureate Award 2018 from Shri Bharat Hari Singhania, President, JK Organisation & Chancellor, JKLU, in the presence of JKLU Pro Chancellor, Shri R.P. Singhania, and former JKLU Vice Chancellor, Dr. RL Raina. With a rare distinction of having served at different times as Foreign, Defence, Commerce and Finance Minister, Late Mukherjee was instrumental in spearheading critical decisions on a range of issues such as administrative reforms, right to information, food security, energy security, IT and telecommunication.

Nobel Peace Prize Awardee and child rights activist, Shri Kailash Satyarthi, receiving the JKLU Laureate Award 2016 from Shri Bharat Hari Singhania, President, JK Organisation & Chancellor, JKLU, in the presence of JKLU Pro Chancellor, Shri R.P. Singhania, and former JKLU Vice Chancellor, Dr. RL Raina. Satyarthi’s initiative, Bachpan Bachao Andolan has rescued over 133,000 children from the scourge of bondage, trafficking and exploitative labour.

Kasturirangan, former Member of Rajya Sabha and former Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation, receiving the JKLU Laureate Award 2014 from Shri Bharat Hari Singhania, President, JK Organisation & Chancellor, JKLU. Under Dr. K. Kasturirangan’s leadership, ISRO successfully operationalised India's prestigious launch vehicle, the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV).
