Mr. Praveen Arora is Professor of Practice at the Institute of Management, JKLU. He specialises in Finance sector with more than 26 years of experience as a senior executive in fast-growing areas of Fin-Tech, Micro Enterprise Lending and Microfinance, as well as traditional powerhouse product categories of Housing Finance, Mortgages, Personal Loans, Business Loans, Car Loans & Leases, Sales Finance, 2-wheeler Loans, etc.

He was associated with GE Money as National Business Manager for Branch Lending, and Business Head for personal loans among others. As Chief operating officer at GE Money Wizard, he set up operations for the first franchise-based housing finance model in India. As the Product manager and VP at GE Money, he set up GE Money Housing Finance and managed the newly launched housing finance business. He has also worked at BNP Paribas and was the Chief Operating at Fincare-Disha and Vistaar Finance.  As Chief operating officer at Fincare Small Finance Bank, he set up the MFI and micro enterprise lending business.

Mr. Praveen has taught courses in Finance and Fintech to JKLU students as a visiting faculty, and has been one of the architects of the BBA Fintech programme and its industry partnerships. He is also an avid running enthusiast and has many marathons and ultra-marathons to his credit.
