Experience
Dr. Sumit Kulshrestha offers more than sixteen (16+) years of expertise as an administrator, startups mentor, and academician. He began his professional career in the banking and insurance sectors before transitioning to academia. In 2009, he became a research associate at BIT MESRA ,Ranchi, Jaipur-Ext, and was later upgraded to lecturer status. Before Joining, JK Lakshmipat University he was employed by Mody University of Science and Technology as an Assistant Professor in Senior Scale.
His skills set inculcate analytical thinking, problem solving, and agile and lean process development for problems. He has expertise in feasibility analysis, business Plan development, financial analysis, and investment analysis.
As academician, he has participated and presented research article in international and national conference, undertake one minor project from DST-NIMAT on Entrepreneurship in 2019, organized Three (3)boot-camps on startups in association with Startup Oasis, istart-GoR, workshop and mentoring session on startups at Mody University. He was organizing secretary of ICSSR sponsored Conference in 2016. He has published research paper in referred national and International journals. He is well acquainted with statistical & Programming tools like STATA, SYSTAT-13, SPSS and R. As an administrator, he was holding positions Assistant Director: IQAC-MUST(2017-19),NAAC Criteria 7 University Coordinator-MUST, NIRF and AICTE Coordinator, and Convenor: Institution Innovation Council-MUST.
As startup mentor, he is registered under MAARG initiatives of DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, where he is mentoring 2 startups.
