As mandated by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), JK Lakshmipat University has established the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a pivotal measure for sustaining quality.

The primary role of the IQAC is to oversee the initiation, planning, implementation, and monitoring of various quality enhancement activities across the university.

IQAC’S core mission is to infuse quality into every aspect of the educational process—from input and process to output—ensuring comprehensive quality enhancement.

Objectives

  • Promote the integration of universal quality principles in the university's operational functions.
  • Develop and implement policies, programs, and systems that align with both national and international quality standards.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the efficacy of quality improvement initiatives, including accreditation processes, certification, and rankings.
  • Organize specialized training for faculty and staff to qualify them as internal auditors and evaluators.
  • Assess the readiness of academic programs and faculty for accreditation and certification, providing guidance for necessary preparations.
  • Clearly define roles, responsibilities, and authority across the university, setting measurable objectives for various functions and levels.
  • Establish robust systems for the collection and analysis of data to monitor various university processes.
  • Develop strategies for ongoing improvement by understanding the university's context, including stakeholder needs and expectations, and identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Enhance resource management to ensure sustainable engagement and satisfaction among learners and staff, thus improving overall competencies and delivering social benefits.
