Experience

Dr. Rajlakshmi Nayak is Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at JKLU since March 2018. She is a visiting scholar of MNIT Jaipur with a SERB Grant under TARE fellowship and a research grant of ₹ 5 lakhs per annum.

 

Currently, she is associated with research projects on Energy Conservation, Computational Fluid Dynamics and Microfluidics. At JKLU, she is involved in developing a number of courses like Calculus and Applied Mechanics, Design and Prototyping and Computational Engineering Analysis disciplines that are based on  Project based learning.

 

She obtained her Doctorate from Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, where she worked with multiphase flow characteristics in microchannel T-junction after completing her M.Tech. from NIT, Rourkela, where she worked on enhancing the insulating property of composite materials. She has one sponsored research grant and twenty publications that include 7 national/ international journals and 13 conferences.
