Sukoon – The Open Mic Show 9.0
On December 10, 2021 JKLU’s Centre for Communication and Critical Thinking, in collaboration with The Meraki World (TMW) organized Sukoon: The Open Mic Show 9.0 at JKLU. The Meraki World is a non -profit organization, dedicated to building a community of budding artists. The event was aimed to help students to come out of their shells and explore their individual talents, whether be it a musician, storyteller, poet, comedian, or any other form of performance artist. The open platform helped to create a free atmosphere to welcome thoughts, accept vulnerability, sensitivity and enjoy the emotional drive of 2 hours. 21 students participated in this along with a few members of the organization itself. Nearly 150 students were eager and curious to cheer and wait for new talents to perform at the stage. The event was coordinated by two alums of the university Ms. Tanushka Jangid who is a part of the Centre at JKLU and Mr. Abhishek Joya who is a co-founder of The Meraki World.
