ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

The M.Des in Product Design is a dynamic two-year program that blends traditional learning with modern, hands-on approaches. This specialization encourages project-based learning, exposing students to various media and software to prepare them for diverse careers in design. As digital production becomes predominant, students are equipped to navigate and innovate within this digital landscape. The curriculum allows students to work on projects that enhance daily life and address real-world challenges across sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, and consumer products, both traditional and IoT-enabled. A solid foundation in design elements like typography, layouts, and color enhances their ability to create visually appealing and functional designs.

Learners get to select projects from varied areas like agriculture products, medical products, children’s products, and products for the elderly, where they work on improving the way of life, besides working on digital products that prepare you for the future
