JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and national pride.

The celebrations commenced with a spirited march past by the university's security staff, starting from the Vice Chancellor’s residence and culminating at the Central Lawn.

The highlight of the event was the flag-hoisting ceremony, where Prof. Dheeraj Sanghi, Vice Chancellor of JKLU, unfurled the National Flag at the Central Lawn. The university campus was adorned with vibrant rangoli designs and exquisite floral decorations, enhancing the patriotic ambiance. The JKLU choir led the gathering in the rendition of the National Anthem, following which Prof. Sanghi addressed the audience, inspiring them with his words of encouragement and national spirit.

The celebrations continued with a lively cultural program featuring dance performances, poetry recitations, drama, and soulful musical performances by students. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by students - Gurseerat Kaur, Mansi & Parineeta Jain.

The program wrapped up with a distribution of sweets and a High Tea gathering at the MDC open area, fostering a sense of camaraderie among all attendees. The entire event was meticulously coordinated by the Admin Team.
