Objective

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at JKLU aims to create the next generation of computer engineers who will work to address the issues and challenges of the present time through knowledge and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Key Highlights

This programme aims to provide a strong foundation in basic sciences, mathematics, basic engineering, humanities, social sciences , design and management, while laying adequate emphasis on core areas in Computer Science Engineering. Courses on Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures, Algorithm Design, Operating Systems, Software Engineering, Theory of Computation, Computer Networks, Database Systems, Artificial Intelligence , Machine Learning and Computer Organisation and Architecture form an integral part of the course curriculum.

 

A mandatory six-week Practice School-1 at the end of the second year and a semester Practice School-2 in final year allows them to get practical knowledge and valuable insight into the world of Computer Science and Engineering. Well-equipped labs and research facilities along with an excellent faculty provide the necessary pathways to aid the process of learning.
