Aastha G is a storyteller who is intrigued by and interested in exploring the transparency and capturing life aspects of filmmaking. Having endeavoured in various mediums such as fine arts, design and communication, I feel most comfortable with communication design and filmmaking as a medium to express myself.
Having graduated in Film Making from National institute of Design- NID (2009) and Edinburgh Napier University (2013) with MA in Screenwriting and as a practicing screenwriter/director, she bears a mélange of work experience with communication Design and film making expertise.
She is currently working as an Associate professor with J K Lakshmipat University. Also, simultaneously developing a documentary film on healers around the world with a French production company (OSF-France). She is working on web series and two documentary films for a French and Indian production company respectively. Being a professional Energy therapist, she holds expertise in various mediums and works as a counsellor too. Over the past 15 years she has had the privilege to teach film making and communication design at various prestigious educational institutes, as full time as well as a visiting faculty.
