Government Policies and Vision: A Parameter for Choosing Career Option

There are total 3 stages where a student (not parents) is given option to choose his own career path.  At stage one, when he enters in the higher secondary education from secondary. He dreams something and accordingly he selects a broad area such as Science (Math or Bio), Commerce or Arts. Second stage comes after passing Sr. Secondary exam which is the key stage where he selects a very specific area for under graduation. Third stage comes after under gradation where students decide for their future strategy. If we see carefully these stages, the students are provided reasonable guidance by parents in selecting the broad area at 11th standard. However, students are most confused after passing out 10+2 exams due to different advices, insecurity, and pressure of parents’ ambitions and most importantly due to influence of friends’ decision.
